I’ll admit, I bought in to the Twitter Rocket idea thinking that it would be a quick and easy way to get some attention, funnel some traffic and make some money. Instead, I got a Twitter feed mostly full of spam and a whole lot of goose-eggs in my affiliate sale’s columns. I read the manual, followed the steps and still didn’t have anything to show for it, but I have learned my lesson.

Quality over Quantity – ALWAYS!

Like I said, I was following the steps, but I wasn’t being choosy. I was just hammering away at followers, but not really getting anywhere. This program works, there is no doubt about it. I’ve gotten my fair share of relevant gurus and followers, but I need to be more selective.

For those of you that may not know exactly what I am talking about, Twitter Rocket is a step-by-step guide to reaching more people using Twitter. It isn’t some scam or a purchased block of followers. It’s a real program that guides you through the process of attracting attention by being useful to the Twitter community. I think I have been useful, I just didn’t choose the best people to follow and I have learned my lesson.

Here’s to a new start with Twitter Rocket and finding the quality people to follow!

Morgan Zero, the creator of Twitter Rocket, posted an interview with Jason Francis.

In summary, Jason talks about how, initially, he began using Twitter Rocket to just boost his design business. His business instantly jumped and he was working 12-16 hours just on the design work. He started to use Twitter Rocket to generate passive income and made over $2000 in just 4 short days.

Jason does make a great point in one response about why Twitter Rocket works:

Well, I already had a couple thousand followers from linking my twitter account up on every previous blog I launched, but Twitter Rocket really helped me increase that number exponentially, and helped me to not just get followers, but meaningful, targeted followers. 100,000 followers is absolutely nothing if they don’t care what you have to say. Twitter Rocket really hits this nail on the head with it’s strategies on acquiring followers in and around your niche.

It’s all about real, target followers. Go read the interview here or learn more about Twitter Rocket.

KISS. Keep it Simple, Stupid!

It’s the best way to get good, clean content out on the web and make it accessible and easily readable for everyone. Keep everything as simple as possible. This does a number of things for you:

Increases your productivity

Increases your reader’s productivity

Enhances SEO

Creates a more enjoyable website to view

Think about it. If you keep your site really simple and informational, people might actually visit it as opposed to just your RSS feed. They’ll see your advertisements and more of your content.

My site, already on Page 1 of Google for the term Twitter Rocket, is nothing more than CSS and a few images. Actually, it’s all built off Headway which is one of the simplest WordPress themes I have ever used, but also the most powerful. It is easy to maintain, easy to write and exceptional at SEO.

Go look at www.drudgereport.com. It is arguably a very ugly site, yet it is simple and full of great content. According to www.websitegrader.com It scored an 88% and is in the top 0.01% of traffic on the internet.

If you’re still not convinced, then check out the guys at 37Signals, especially Backpack. It’s simple, clean and so easy to use. It fits the bill of probably 95% + of people and it isn’t complicated.

What do you think? Is simple really this important or is it overrated?

10 days may seem like a long time, but I run multiple businesses, websites and Twitter accounts, so going from 0 to page 1 in 10 days is a major deal. It also helps that Twitter Rocket is driving traffic toward my site.

A couple of people have already asked me about how I did it, and the answer isn’t really simple or easy. I started with my theme which is extremely SEO friendly. If you haven’t heard of Headway yet, and you are a WordPress Designer, you should really check it out. Just go to their site and watch the videos.

Secondly, SEO setup was crucial. I nailed in some really targeted keywords and read a lot of material. I’m not an SEO expert in terms of the time I have been around, but I have learned quite enough to be dangerous and get on page 1.

After that, it is just promoting Twitter Rocket through blog posts and Tweets. If you want some consulting for your site, Contact me or post a comment.

I’ve just started using Twitter Rocket today, but I am intrigued with the possibilities. I’ve read the entire guide and every step is rock-solid and virtually guaranteed to drive more followers to your Twitter account that you can then point in any direction you wish. It’s a really simple process that has a few stages and then a repeating set of tasks that you follow each week to gain recognition and increase your followers. Over the next few weeks I’ll report in and let you know the status of my adventure with Twitter Rocket.

One thing that drives more business, especially on the web, than any other marketing method is exposure. It’s the new “Location, Location, Location” idea. You get links, get popular and you gain exposure to your site.

As a business owner and entrepreneur, if you don’t have a website, you are missing out on a huge opportunity to reach thousands and millions of customers. Twitter Rocket helps you to gain that recognition by using social networking. It’s instant and it doesn’t cost much of anything. In fact, Twitter Rocket costs only $97 to begin using, but the amount of traffic you can gain far exceeds the cost involved.

I’ll help you do the math: If you purchase the program, you spent $97 on advertising (essentially). If you generate 1000 followers in a week and 1/10 of those people click on to view your site, you just captured 100 unique visitors. Less than $1 per visitor, in the first week! For $97 you gained 100 potential customers.

Lather, rinse, repeat. It’s that simple. The internet is so simple to monetize and market through. It’s one of the most efficient systems I’ve seen to create interest and gain exposure.

I’ll give you a quick comparison: Let’s say your time is worth $100/hour and you take one hour per day to call clients or potential clients. Let’s also assume that during that one hour, you were able to actually talk to 12 people (about 5 minutes per call). You spent about $8.33 in Opportunity Cost on each of those contacts, and you can’t build upon that easily. It’s a one-time transaction, whereas Twitter and Twitter Rocket garner repeated interest.

Marketing via the web and specifically via Twitter is efficient. No more, one call for one contact. You can post one tweet and reach all of your customers instantly. THERE IS NO OTHER MARKETING METHOD THAT WORKS THIS EFFICIENTLY.

Try Twitter Rocket. It will improve your followers list and get you in front of hundreds and thousands of people if you work at it each day. It works. Give Twitter Rocket a shot.

I’ve decided to make Twitter Rocket a page as opposed to just a post. This way you can keep updated on the happenings surrounding it and a central location for the information. Check it out.
